How the Client Queue Works

The Client Queue automatically organizes all client workflows and tasks assigned to you — so you always know where to start.

How the Client Queue Works

The Client Queue is the left-hand panel in Work Desk. It automatically organizes all the client workflows and tasks currently assigned to you — so you always know where to start without having to search.

What the Queue Shows

When you open Work Desk, your Client Queue loads automatically. Work is grouped by workflow, so you can see at a glance which types of work are active across your client book.

Each client tile displays:

  • Client name — the client the work belongs to

  • Task assigned to you — the specific next step waiting on you

  • Progress — a chip showing how far along the workflow is (e.g. 3/7 tasks completed)

  • Reminder — if a deadline is approaching or overdue, a color-coded chip shows how much time remains

How Work is Prioritized

Hubly automatically sorts your queue so the most time-sensitive work rises to the top. Workflows are ordered by age, volume, and reminder status — the oldest active work and any overdue reminders appear first. You don't need to manually sort or decide what to tackle next.

Navigating the Queue

  • Expand or collapse a workflow group by clicking the section header — useful if you want to focus on one type of work at a time

  • Select a client by clicking their tile — the main panel immediately loads that client's workflow so you can start working

  • Load more — if you have a large client book, additional clients load as you scroll down

When the Queue is Empty

If all your assigned tasks are complete, the queue shows a celebration message: "The client queue is all caught up." No pending work means everything is moving.
