Commenting In Hubly - Now With Multi Workflows and Tasks Association

Associate multiple comments directly with workflows and tasks — making it simpler to track conversations and actions in one place.

Updated this week

As of August 13th this feature is officially in beta. Customers will be gradually auto-enrolled over time. If you’d like to request early access, please leave a comment on our public roadmap to let us know.

🔗 Multiple Comments on Workflows

You can now create comments that are scoped to a specific workflow, helping you and your team focus discussions where they matter most.

✅ What You Can Do:

  • Create a comment directly on a workflow via the comment icon.

  • Filter comments to view only comments associated with the current workflow.

  • Comments created while the workflow filter is active are automatically scoped to that workflow.

  • The “Comment” button is now available directly on workflows—just like it is on tasks.

🔗 Multiple Comments on Tasks

Hubly now supports multiple comments per task, allowing richer communication tied to specific client work.

✅ What You Can Do:

  • Add multiple comments to a single task.

  • Filter to include or exclude task comments from your view.

  • Click the “Comment” icon on a task to:

    • Open a new comment form.

    • Filter the comment section to show only comments related to that task.

  • When the task filter is active, any new comments will be automatically linked to that task.

  • Task comment icons will now visually indicate if comments exist.

  • Adding comment to a tasks will automatically associate it with the workflow.

🔍 Comment Filtering Options

Use the filters in the Comments section to toggle between:

  • All comments

  • Workflow and Tasks only comments

  • Task-only comments (with optional inclusion of workflow task comments)

These filters help you narrow your focus or zoom out to see broader activity across your workflows and tasks.

🎯 When Should I Use This?

  • Leave instructions or updates at the workflow level for team-wide awareness.

  • Use task comments for client-specific updates, notes, or handoffs.

  • Filter and search comments to find what you need faster and stay aligned with your team.
