Since not all of your work is client-related, building non-client-facing Workflows will allow you to:

  • Capture outstanding to-do's facing you and your business

  • Plan and track monthly, quarterly, and annual compliance-related activities

  • Build Standard Operating Procedures ("SOPs") for the less-common processes (such as staff on-boarding, off-boarding, strategic planning, and more)

You can start by creating a new Client in Hubly (or in your CRM) named after your firm:

By creating a new Client that is under your firm's name, for example, "Hubly, Inc", you can begin adding this Client to "Operational" (non-client-facing) Workflows that you go on o create.

Simply create a new Workflow named after a business-facing task (such as "Update ADV Filing"):

We recommend adding "Ops" as a naming convention for all of your operational Workflows, this will make it easier to find them when searching your Workflow menu.

Now you can begin documenting your procedures for the things that you complete for your firm!

Now, as you begin managing your non-client-facing tasks, you will also start building a record of all of the tasks that you have completed for your Firm — including who completed them, and when they were last completed.
