The User Task Activity and Task View dashboards make it easy to get in the weeds on the work that is being carried out - or still needs to be carried out - across your firm on a regular basis. This post discusses two dashboards:
User Task Activity
This dashboard is best used to summarize the total number of open tasks at your firm, as well as those tasks that might be overdue. By setting an alert on your firmโs overdue tasks you can create a KPI that makes sure nothing slips through the cracks:
The User Task Activity Dashboard also has 3 key visualizations:
Weekly tasks completed
Tasks completed by month, broken down per user
Tasks complete by user, broken down each month
Looking at the Weekly Tasks Completed chart, you might discover that your firm completed twice as many tasks in the last week of January as compared against any other week:
Further, you might discover that in January, a member of your team (John) completed 50% of the tasks across your firm, but in May they completed only 14%:
What caused this drop off? Based on this data and your understanding of your firm, you can uncover the reasons for inconsistencies in productivity and workload.
Task View
Similarly to the All Client Workflows dashboard, the Task View dashboard presents a list showing all tasks associated with your Hub. The dashboard defaults to incomplete tasks, but filters can be changed to include archived and completed tasks:
This large swath of data is a great place to start when you want to see absolutely everything related to tasks, and then drill down and filter further.
For example, you can filter this list by tasks that have had their reminder dismissed but are still incomplete. These tasks may be candidates for work that has slipped through the cracks that needs to be followed up on:
You can also filter by tasks that your client is responsible for. This makes it easy, due to the fact that this Dashboard is in a list view, to quickly go client by client and follow-up on any outstanding work the client may have to tackle:
