How to Schedule Insight Dashboard Deliveries

Insight Dashboard data can be scheduled for delivery via email, allowing anyone on your team to receive regular updates on your hub.

Any Insight Dashboard can be scheduled to be delivered via email. This is a convenient way to receive regular snapshots of the dashboard data that’s important to you, to schedule Dashboard data to arrive in your attendees' inboxes ahead of a meeting, or to give others access to particular data, even if they don’t have access to Insight Dashboards.

To schedule a report delivery, click the ellipsis icon in the top right corner of any Insight Dashboard and select Schedule Delivery:

On the Settings tab, provide a name for your scheduled report and use the dropdown lists to select when and how often you’d like it to be scheduled:

It can be set to run on a schedule that is highly configurable, from monthly to every few minutes. It can also be set to run only on specific days or months if desired:

Provide one or more email addresses to send the report to, and select the format in which you’d like to receive it. CSV is often convenient for importing into a spreadsheet, while PDF is useful for printing and PNG provides a static image of the data in a more visual format:

On the Filters tab, you can customize any of the dashboard filters for the purposes of the report:

Tip: You can use the Test now button to send a test email of the scheduled report.

When you’re done, click the Save button. You’ll see your new scheduled report in the list, and it will be delivered in the format and on the schedule you set up:

Multiple scheduled reports can be created for the same dashboard. They can be edited, duplicated or deleted by clicking the ellipsis icon next to each.
