Households allow you to:
Add clients into existing households
Add clients into newly created households
Assign a household role to household members
Quickly switch between client cards of household members
Configuring Households
A client's household is listed under the client's name at the top left of the client card:
Selecting the Add to Household button lets you search for or create a household to add the client into, the household manager will open if a new household is created:
Here you can edit the household's name and add or remove members. You can specify a member's role and select Add to add/update the household member. You can search for and add existing clients to the household and select Save to commit these changes and exit.
If your account is connected to an external CRM, Hubly will save these changes to the CRM. Some CRMs do not support creating and editing households in Hubly, in which case you will be redirected to edit the household in your CRM.
Create New Clients From The Household Manager
We have also updated the manage household window (not currently supported for Redtail CRM users) allowing you to look-up and create new clients if they don't yet exist in your CRM.
Households can now be assembled even more quickly by simply typing to search for a client profile and selecting + Create when no existing client is found. You can then assign a household role and select Save to add them into the household.
Clients created in Hubly are also created immediately in your CRM.
Using Households
You can hide and show the members of a household by selecting the name of the household under the client name:
Selecting a specific household member will switch to their client card:
Remember: you can also create clients from the Client bar on the top-right corner of your Hub.
